Health and Safety Policy
Events Together Limited treats safety as the highest priority during any event or activity. Your safety, security and well-being as a participant always takes precedent over any other issues, and that “safety” relates primarily to the well-being, in physical and mental terms, of any person involved in running or participating in an event be they employee, sub-contracted staff, associate and secondarily to belongings, property and protection of the environment.
We expect that safety is the responsibility of every person within Events Together Limited, and it is our intention to support any person, (employed, contracted or otherwise) in exercising that responsibility.
Each individual, whilst working within Events Together Limited, must take all reasonable and practicable steps to ensure the health and safety of all others, whoever they are, in connection with the business of this organisation. This includes people who may be unconcerned with the business of Events Together Limited but who are, or may be at risk as a result of the activities of our clients, customers, suppliers, employees and contracted personnel, or equipment used by those people.
The term “reasonable and practicable” indicates that in any situation, each associate must use his or her own judgement before embarking on a particular course of action - at that particular point in time, that individual will need to decide what they consider to be reasonable and practicable. The seriousness and subjectivity of this necessitates careful consideration of all available options with respect to consequences, the immediacy of making a decision and the available resources at the time.
Personal Insurance
Whilst it is not pre-requisite to taking part in any Events Together Limited events, Events Together Limited recommends that its clients take out their own personal accident insurance.
